1. B-School from a Business House

SGBS is amongst those very few new breeds of B-schools that bring in a corporate DNA. Being sponsored by a Corporate house, SGBS is uniquely positioned to offer a crucial mix of theory and practice across program structure - curriculum design - delivery model. A corporate house such as Sparsh Group of Industries having a global footprint does offer a solid grounding in the global corporate landscape.

2. Contextually Tailored Curriculum

In the era of Industry 4.0, almost all traditional management constructs rooted in the 20th-century industrial era are challenged and have outlived their purpose. SGBS brings you a cutting-edge curriculum, with a fair mix of physical and blended learning, tailored to the rapidly changing business context of the disruptive digital era. Through this process, SGBS aims to make future leaders adaptable to suit the varied corporate needs of a fluid world.

3. Immersive & Engaging Pedagogy

SGBS offers a specially crafted bouquet of pedagogy facilitating an immersive learning experience. Learners engage in field studies, exploratory research, and hands-on problem-solving assignments through specially crafted experiential learning labs, powered by our corporate partners. Learners get an opportunity to work on social and corporate problem statements enabling them to innovate, evaluate and build business models around those problem statements.

4. Mentoring by Masters

This is at the core of the industry-academia integration offered by SGBS. Under this arrangement, our learners shall get an opportunity to be mentored one-on-one by senior corporate leaders throughout the program duration.

This facilitates participative Learning by Shadowing experts and practitioners by way of experience sharing, continuous feedback loop, apprenticeship, story-telling, and active engagement.

5. Global Footprints

SGBS, in its quest to nurture global citizens and by virtue of its corporate reach, provides global footprints through deep-rooted partnerships and connects with MNCs as well as premiere institutions offering management and allied programs, thus creating opportunities to engage in short module immersion programs (business and cultural) as well as long duration study-abroad programs which can potentially translate into global opportunities for work and research.

6. Sim Lab

Powered by marquee global brands such as Harvard Business school, Bloomberg, Capstone, NSE, etc., our SGBS Business Simulation Laboratory allows learners to do trial-error in a risk-free environment and help them understand the impact of their decisions and gain real business experiences with immersive and guided learning. Learners draw substantial aspects of the real world in a fully interactive mode, thus improving their problem-solving and decision-making skills in business management where experience-based learning is critical.

7. Start-Up Garage

SGBS perhaps is the pioneer in providing a full-fledged Entrepreneurship Lab called Sparsh Combinator with a dedicated seed fund of a quarter million dollars, under the partnership of an internationally acclaimed Start-Up Accelerator and a registered Angel Fund. All learners across PG programs, especially those pursuing PGDM in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, will be provided with a seed fund to try their hands at creating a start-up. The focus of Start-Up Garage is to create social change by encouraging young entrepreneurs to weave sustainable business models around the social challenges that humanity at large is facing.

8. Win@Work Modules

Win@work entails a bouquet of specially crafted modules throughout the program, designed and delivered by our industry partners and global agencies. These modules shall hone the people & life skills of our learners for them to be effective in multicultural, borderless, digital workspaces.

9. Social Immersion

The social Immersion module is consistent with our vision of nurturing environmentally conscious business leaders of tomorrow, where learners shall engage in hundred hours (per year) of social impact activities in association with our NGO partners including global agencies such as the United Nations. At the core of this Social Immersion program will be the ESG framework and UN Sustainability Development Goals.

10. Action Research

Through this initiative, SGBS shall aim to create a scholastic impact by not only understanding and evaluating the Best Practices but also by contributing to developing the Next Practices for the world of business and management. All learners shall engage in action research along with faculty and corporate mentors. Qualitative and case-method research would be at the core of this initiative. Dedicated resources and global partnerships shall drive action research at SGBS.

11. Professional Certifications

At SGBS, a plethora of certificate programs from global stakeholders and Ivy League Institutions are offered for the enrichment of the employability of our learners. Each learner can opt for a minimum of two certifications in their chosen specialization.
